The Missouri Mathematics and Science Coalition is a group of business, education, government and community stakeholders who have come together to foster collaboration to ensure Missouri citizens are equipped with knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The Missouri Chamber has been a strong supporter of the mission since its inception and facilitates the Coalition, which has an impressive list of achievements.

Our Top Goals

  • 1. Improve the performance of all P-20 students
  • 2. Expand the pool of students motivated to pursue STEM careers
  • 3. Expand the pool of Missouri’s P-20 STEM educators
  • 4. Establish a technology plan to support STEM curricula
  • 5. Increase public awareness of the value of STEM knowledge on the lives of all Missourians
  • 6. Highlight the importance of STEM-related industries in enhancing Missouri’s global competitiveness

Each year, the Missouri Mathematics and Science Coalition offers Missouri STEM Signing Day for high school students and STEM Day at the Capitol for students, educators and STEM professionals.

HEALTH CARE CAREER DAY

This statewide, FREE, virtual event takes students inside Missouri hospitals to learn about the hottest careers in health care and engage in real world learning. Save the date for our next event: February 23, 2024!

Individual members receive an e-newsletter and access to STEM-related activities at discounted pricing. They also have the ability to engage in subcommittee work and receive general STEM information when available.
