The 2018 Missouri Business Awards brought a celebration of business success to Kansas City. The event highlighted our state’s top leaders in private industry, education and government policy.
The night’s top honor went to H&R Block, which was named the 2018 Champion of Enterprise.
“This award recognizes an outstanding Missouri employer that has demonstrated true enterprising spirit and has made a significant contribution to the state over the years,” said Daniel P. Mehan, Missouri Chamber president and CEO. “Since its inception in Kansas City more than 60 years ago, H&R Block has become a world leader in tax preparation services and is one of the most recognized brands in the industry today.”
Jeff Jones, president and CEO of H&R Block accepted the award.
“It’s an incredible honor for me to lead the company into the future and embrace everything that Henry and Richard and the Bloch family have made so true about what we care about and our purpose is as a company,” Jones said.
