Two new members have joined the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s governmental affairs team.
Luke Reed will serve as director of legislative affairs and Cade Tremain will be manager of governmental affairs.
Reed brings diverse experience in Missouri state government. Most recently, he served as legislative director for the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance where he advocated for stakeholders in the fields of insurance, banking and utilities. He also worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation, designing legislative solutions for the traveling public.
Reed earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington University and a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Missouri.
Tremain worked as an outreach services coordinator with the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development. The position put him in front of high school students and adult learners interested in going to college or finding a new career field.
Tremain returns to the Missouri Chamber after serving as a legislative affairs intern in 2023. He graduated from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg where he studied political science and American politics.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Luke and Cade to our team ahead of the 2025 legislative session,” said Missouri Chamber President and CEO Kara Corches. “They will serve our members well as we work to ensure employers’ voices are heard at the State Capitol.”
