Missouri Chamber PAC announces August 4 primary election endorsements 

The Missouri Chamber Political Action Committee announced its support of 22 candidates for seats in the Missouri General Assembly ahead of the August 4 primary election. 

The Missouri Chamber PAC works to elect pro-jobs, pro-business candidates who support private sector job creation and economic growth. 

“We need lawmakers who understand the challenges facing employers today,” said Roger Archibald, chairman of the Missouri Chamber PAC. “The candidates endorsed by the Missouri Chamber PAC are committed to free enterprise and common-sense policies that help businesses grow, create jobs and invest in their communities. That’s how we keep Missouri competitive and ensure our state remains a great place to live, work and do business.” 

The endorsed candidates are:

  • Senate District 10: Mike Deering 
  • Senate District 16: Hannah Kelly 
  • Senate District 20: Curtis Trent 
  • Senate District 28: Brad Pollitt 
  • Senate District 32: Ellen Nichols 
  • Senate District 34: Mike Jones 
  • House District 2: Phil Fox 
  • House District 54: Brandon Phelps 
  • House District 56: Steve Baker 
  • House District 60: Shane Kampeter 
  • House District 64: Deanna Self 
  • House District 106: Travis Wilson 
  • House District 108: Mike Costlow 
  • House District 127: Brenden Kelley 
  • House District 139: Sandy Karnes

The Missouri Chamber PAC is the political action arm of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The committee goes through a rigorous and deliberative candidate endorsement selection process, which includes analysis of candidate positions on key economic issues and incumbent candidate vote ratings.
