The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed a new member to its governmental affairs team.
Jared Hankinson will serve as director of legislative affairs, advocating for Missouri employers on legislative, regulatory and judicial issues.
Most recently, Hankinson worked in Gov. Mike Parson’s office as deputy policy and legislative director. In this role, he reviewed and provided in-depth analysis and recommendations to the governor regarding legislation and regulations. Hankinson also has experience working on statewide campaigns, including running a regional field office in the St. Louis metro to support Gov. Parson’s reelection.
“We are excited to welcome Jared to our team,” said Kara Corches, president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber. “He has strong experience at the State Capitol that will serve our members well as we work to make sure employers’ voices are heard.”
Hankinson graduated from Monmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication studies and a minor in Spanish.
