Gov. Mike Parson named Missouri Chamber’s 2019 Man in the Arena
Gov. Mike Parson is a pro-business champion and the Missouri Chamber is excited to honor him with our highest governmental award — Man in the Arena. Gov. Parson will accept the honor during the
Missouri Business Awards on Nov. 14 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
This event serves as the annual meeting of the Missouri Chamber—which was recently named the
2019 State Chamber of the Year. All Missouri Chamber members are encouraged to join the Missouri Chamber and Gov. Parson at this event.
Under Gov. Parson’s leadership, Missouri has radically restructured the state’s workforce training and incentive efforts, including the establishment of the Fast Track and One State programs. The state is also doing more than ever to compete for business investment by bolstering our economic development efforts and giving Missouri more tools to close major development deals. Gov. Parson is also focused on improving our transportation system. This year he led the effort to pass a bill to fix our bridges and speed up other infrastructure repairs.
