Missouri Chamber PAC endorses Mike Parson for Governor

The Missouri Chamber Political Action Committee has endorsed Mike Parson for Governor of Missouri. With this endorsement, the Missouri Chamber PAC is urging Missouri voters to support Gov. Parson in the November 3, 2020, election as he seeks to continue his service to Missouri. The endorsement was hosted by WB Industries in O’Fallon.

“Gov. Mike Parson is truly a champion for Missouri. He came into office during a turbulent time and brought stability to our state. Under his leadership, Missouri’s economy is growing and we are headed in the right direction,” said Daniel P. Mehan, president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “As governor, Mike Parson has kept Missouri laser-focused on the issues that matter most to our future. He has advocated for innovative programs to better prepare our state’s workforce, leading to this year’s creation of the Fast Track and One Start programs. He also led the charge on passing a plan to begin repairing our state’s vital transportation infrastructure without raising taxes. He has been an outstanding leader for Missouri and I encourage voters to keep Mike Parson working hard for Missouri as our governor.”

Gov. Parson’s focus on workforce, transportation and competing for jobs aligns closely with the Missouri Chamber’s Missouri 2030 strategic vision. Under Gov. Parson’s leadership, the state is making progress toward the goals of Missouri 2030. His success during his short time as governor led the Missouri Chamber to honor him this year with our highest individual honor, the Man in the Arena award. The award will be given to Gov. Parson during the Missouri Business Awards, the annual meeting of the Missouri Chamber, on Nov. 14 in St. Louis. In addition, this summer the Missouri Chamber awarded Gov. Parson with the state’s first ever Business Champion lapel pin, an honor reserved for Missouri leaders who are doing the most in Jefferson City to improve our economy.

“Gov. Parson is the leader Missouri needs right now,” said Mehan. “It’s no secret that our state is facing its share of challenges, and the Missouri Chamber is actively engaged in these discussions. But we are very hopeful about where we are headed with Gov. Parson leading our state. He has helped set Missouri on a positive trajectory. From now until November 2020, the Missouri Chamber PAC will do everything we can to help Gov. Parson continue his leadership and keep Missouri moving forward.”
