2019 By the Numbers: The Missouri Chamber’s Year in Review
There is no doubt that 2019 will go down as a historic year for the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This was an incredible year of growth and success for our organization. We helped pass strong pro-business legislation. We launched new programs and educational seminars. Our membership grew and our organization’s finances became even stronger.
Then, on top of it all, we were named the 2019 State Chamber of the Year! Below is a look at just some of the numbers that contributed to our success this year.
Launched in January of 2019, Missouri Intern Connect now has 250+ internship seekers currently registered. Over the course of the year, there have been 607 internship openings posted on the site.
The Missouri Chamber hosted a broad array of educational seminars across Missouri in 2019 with 1,225 people attending. These included our first ever Women in Leadership Summit in Columbia on July 12.

The Missouri Chamber had a strong year financially in 2019 with our cash and investments growing by 15.7 percent during the fiscal year. Our membership numbers also continued to grow.

As the
2019 State Chamber of the Year, the Missouri Chamber is setting the bar in our industry. We could not have done this without the support from our members.
It takes a team. Thank you!
