Missouri Chamber Manufacturing Alliance
Manufacturing powers Missouri’s economy. It’s time for our industry to have a stronger, united alliance that’s capable of advocating for our interests and advancing manufacturing in our state.
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Missouri’s most powerful voice for business. The Manufacturing Alliance allows us to unite the industry in a new way that’s supported by the Missouri Chamber’s unmatched advocacy strength and statewide programmatic reach.
The Missouri Chamber Manufacturing Alliance will:
- Engage manufacturing leaders from all industry sectors to connect on issues and share best practices.
- Provide timely communications that inform Missouri’s manufacturing sector and promote the benefits of Missouri-made products.
- Develop statewide programs that help showcase manufacturing in a positive light.
- Provide relevant professional development opportunities for manufacturers.
Unifying Missouri Manufacturers on Key Issues
Manufacturing is responsible for 12% — $40.5 billion — of Missouri’s gross domestic product. It ranks as one of the top industries that provides a strong, stable job market and brings direct and indirect economic impacts to all areas of the state. Manufacturers have as many shared policy concerns as other businesses, but also have some very different concerns that need specific approaches to confront head-on.
