Of the 20 candidates endorsed by the Missouri Chamber PAC in the August 6 primary election, 70% will represent their party in the upcoming general election, including Mike Kehoe for Missouri Governor.
“Mike Kehoe is a true champion for economic development efforts in our state,” said Kara Corches, interim president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “He has been a lead advocate for addressing Missouri’s child care crisis and improving our state’s transportation infrastructure. We are happy that voters recognize the importance of bringing a small businessman’s perspective to the governor’s office, and the Missouri Chamber PAC will do everything it can from now until November to ensure Mike Kehoe is Missouri’s next governor.”
By engaging its grassroots network of members and local chambers of commerce, the Missouri Chamber PAC helped defeat candidates bankrolled by trial attorneys and elect 14 endorsed candidates, including:
Missouri Governor
Missouri Senate
Missouri House
“Missouri voters overwhelmingly chose to support candidates who are pro-jobs and pro-business,” Corches said. “Missourians showed they care about growing the economy, creating jobs and protecting free enterprise in our state. After seeing the dysfunction of the 2024 legislative session, voters chose to elect candidates who are committed to practical governance rather than personal ambition.”
The Missouri Chamber PAC is the political action arm of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Missouri’s largest business association. The committee goes through a rigorous and deliberative candidate endorsement selection process, which includes analysis of candidate positions on key economic issues and incumbent candidate vote ratings.
Additional candidate endorsements will be made ahead of the November general election.
