Workforce2030 Conference to bring together stakeholders to address employers’ most critical need

Posted on

Who: The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry

What:  The Workforce2030 Conference will bring together more than 250 industry professionals, educators and policy makers to help Missouri improve workforce development within our businesses and the state. The conference will feature workforce development experts from around the nation.

The Workforce2030 Report, released earlier this year, takes a comprehensive look at where Missouri stands today and includes a national analysis of workforce development best practices.  Many topics and strategies from that report will be the focus of the Workforce2030 Conference.

The conference will also feature presentations and breakout sessions on topics including:

  • Updates by Gov. Mike Parson and key members of his cabinet on the Best in Midwest and Talent for Tomorrow initiatives;
  • Initiatives to help under-skilled, underserved adult workers receive better access to training;
  • Strategies to best transition Missouri service men and women back into our workforce;
  • Innovative tactics that employers, states and regions are using to attract top performers;
  • Non-traditional training programs, including “high school to work” and apprenticeship programs; and
  • Best practices in diversity and inclusion training being deployed by Missouri’s top companies.
