More than 500 attendees gather for STEM Day at the Capitol
Hundreds of students, education supporters and business leaders gathered at the Missouri Capitol Rotunda on March 5 to celebrate the state’s growing math and science efforts. The annual STEM Day at the Capitol event, hosted by the Missouri Chamber Foundation’s Mathematics and Science Coalition and Verizon, showcases the many career opportunities STEM education provides. Throughout the day, student groups and coalition members provided demonstrations and hands-on activities for students and guests.
