The Missouri Chamber Legislative Practice and Ethics Seminar will provide legislators, staff, lobbyists and attorneys with insights into the legislative process. We will discuss legislative rules, bill and amendment drafting and Missouri Ethics Commission updates. Our speakers will also examine ethical issues surrounding legislative practice and how professionals can ensure compliance with state law and ethics requirements. This seminar will be a good refresher on legislative and ethics issues early in the new session. The program’s speakers come from legislative offices, the executive branch and private practice to give attendees a broad perspective on the issues.
5.3 hours of CLE credit and 2 hours of ethics credit will be available to attendees.
