The 2026 legislative session yielded important gains for Missouri’s technology sector. Some of the highlights include legislation to make it easier for out-of-state tech professionals to become licensed in Missouri and increased investment in emerging tech industries, such as advanced pharmaceuticals and critical mineral fabrication. The General Assembly also held the line on serious threats to tech economy growth, such as bans on the use of AI.
